i'm Nicole

I started this blog after I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease. After struggling to adjust to a mandatory gluten free diet, I wanted to create a resource for others trying to learn their way around this gluten filled world.

These are Trader Joe’s gluten free version of their Joe-Joe’s cookie, which is a chocolate vanilla creme cookie replica of an Oreo cookie. These cookies are not overwhelming sweet and the vanilla creme is a little chunky, so it gives it a nice flavor blast with the cocoa cookie.

One box cost $3.99, which isn’t a bad deal for gluten free cookies. I would be interested in buying these and crushing them up to make a pie crust or use as a cheesecake filling. The cookies contain soy, eggs, and corn. Plus, they carry a “may contain” warning for milk and tree nuts.
