gluten free features
Everyone has a guilty indulgence. Mine is In-N-Out. After being diagnosed with celiac, I was so happy to find out that they have gluten free options!
Nothing is worse than not being able to eat the foods that you loved before, so it really means a lot when restaurants have options for food allergies and sensitivities.
In-N-Out is known for their hidden menu, like this protein style cheese burger that uses a lettuce wrap instead of a hamburger bun. In-N-Out’s fries are safe to eat since the oil is dedicated just for the fries, meaning there is no cross contamination with gluten.
In addition, you can ask them to make a "gluten allergy" note on your order for for extra precaution when they handle your food.
- HAMBURGER PROTEIN STYLE (LETTUCE WRAPPED)
- CHEESEBURGER PROTEIN STYLE (LETTUCE WRAPPED)
- DOUBLE-DOUBLE® PROTEIN STYLE (LETTUCE WRAPPED)
- FRENCH FRIES
- CHOCOLATE SHAKE
- VANILLA SHAKE
- STRAWBERRY SHAKE
**This menu was taken from my experience & may have changed since my visit or vary by location. Check with the restaurant prior to your visit by viewing the menu posted on their website or by calling ahead of time. Always be sure to communicate any food allergies you have with your waiter(es) during your visit.
I started this blog after I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease. After struggling to adjust to a mandatory gluten free diet, I wanted to create a resource for others trying to learn their way around this gluten filled world.
