Choose how many meals you prefer to receive in a week. Pick between 4 - 12 meals
Pick the day of the week you want your food delivered (this is another advantage of Freshly, most meal deliveries are already preset and cannot be customized!)
Select your meals in advance
Enter your billing and shipping information
Wait for your food to arrive
Freshly has a rotating menu with tons of options. Again, these are ALL certified gluten free, so you don't have to worry about picking something that might make you sick. If you have additional allergies, icons let you which meals are either free of dairy or soy as well.
Additional icons let you know if a meal is high in protein or low in calories to help navigate your choices. For my first order, I went with meals that were top-rated or looked like they had a lot of veggies so that I could get my nutrients.
My mouth was drooling while I was placing my first order because all of the choices looked so good! I kept checking my email day-dreaming about all the meals I was about to eat in the days ahead.
Once your food arrives, you are notified by a text. Freshly packaging is pretty eco-conscience as well. The insulation in the cooler is made with biodegradable denim and ice bags can be defrosted and recycled after use.
The meals arrive frozen but are to be kept in the fridge. The recommended way to heat the meals is in the microwave. The company actually discourages heating any of their foods in the oven. All meals are ready to eat in a matter of minutes!
Reordering is super simple as well. You can either do this through their app or online. They will send you a reminder email to update your weekly meal preferences. Meals are automatically selected for your previous week's order, but this can be changed the same way you selected the meals for your first order.
Every meal that I have tried has been fresh and full of flavor. My kitchen is quickly flooded with an amazing scent every time I microwave one of these meals. Plus, each meal includes a variety of vegetables full of nutrients.
I have grown up eating TV dinners and microwave meals all my life, and trust me when I say I could not tell that these were frozen!
