Gluten Free Guide to Palm Springs

Planning a trip to Palm Springs or the greater Coachella Valley? Don't let your gluten-free diet hold you back from experiencing the area's world-class dining scene! Whether you're a local Celiac or a visitor with dietary restrictions, navigating restaurant menus can be tricky.

That’s why I made this guide packed with fantastic restaurants in Palm Springs and the surrounding Coachella Valley that cater to gluten-free needs. From luxurious fine dining experiences to casual brunch spots and trendy hidden gems, you'll find delicious options to dazzle your taste buds without compromising your health.

Note for my Celiac friends, Palm Springs does not have any 100% gluten free menus and all restaurants mentioned on this blog use a shared kitchen. Always tell your server about your dietary needs. Use your best judgment - if you don't feel safe eating somewhere, don't. However, I personally have been to each of these restaurants and share my experiences below.

Fine Dining:

Nobu (Indian Wells): Craving a luxurious experience? Nobu offers gluten-free customization on many dishes, allowing you to enjoy their renowned Japanese cuisine without the worry. Their servers are extremely knowledgeable about celiac disease and will speak directly to the chef to ensure every dish is safe for you to enjoy. Located at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, you can even enjoy watching the famous BNP Paribas Open from the restaurant during the March tournament!

La Quinta Cliffhouse (La Quinta): Enjoy breathtaking mountain views and delicious food, including gluten-free options like steaks, seafood, salads and more.
